Integrative Ecology

Studies how natural and anthropogenic factors interact to force past and current biodiversity patterns and the ecological/evolutionary processes that maintain the integrity of the terrestrial and marine ecosystems of oceanic islands and seamounts of the Pacific Ocean. Also, it explores the land-sea exchange processes and how the terrestrial ecosystem deterioration impacts the adjacent marine ecosystem.
