Management and Conservation

Focus on marine-terrestrial conservation of natural and cultural heritage, suggesting adaptive management strategies for land and sea, and for the effective implementation of terrestrial and marine protected areas, based on a collaborative approach with island communities. Traditional practices and how they are incorporated into governance and management frameworks, as well as the vulnerability of islands to climate change, are assessed to help build long-term climate resilience.
